she has read me kindle books before but i dont think in web format she can

John Smith

Is there a way to download the text so Alexa can read it for me?

Erick Thiemke

final rest would fall under necro from this world...she could learn banishing but it is an advanced spell form and doesn't have the time or resources

Zaffre

I'm guessing Castile doesn't have the right affinities to learn the final rest and banishing circle spells.

Hartman Van Heerden

The summoner had Konstantinos blade, Eryk only have the loan one he won the use off for the dungeon clear that hopefully gets written in the 3rd chapter of book 3.

Erick Thiemke

the runic blade on the summoner was Konstantin's. Konstantin reclaimed it. He has the runic dagger from the griffin rider girl.

Ha dug

Doesn’t he have a runic blade he picked up off the summoner or woven girl though….why doesn’t he just say so and wear it openly. It’s not like it would be taken from him as shown by Konstantins blade which he said he took off of an elf he killed….

Erick Thiemke

Interesting questions! Air shield storage...guess it is possible since the fireball from the griffin rider was maintained. Eryk might not think to try it, though. As for pulling out parts of live creatures....I am going to say no. The geometry of putting items into the space is the same coming out. If he can clearly define the object going in - a potion for instance - then he pull just that item out. Also, there is the factor of the creature's aether resistance since they are not dead yet.

Person8

I'm wondering if Eryk can store one of his mana shields in his dimensional space. Have a stack of those ready to deploy anywhere in that 10 foot range instead of just in touch range. Also it seems like putting things in his space can have variable cost - but retrieving it is always a flat cost (maybe by volume). That means that even if it costs a bunch to store those shields he can have a whole bunch ready for a fight. Related sort of question... if he stores an entire living person (goblin) can he choose to retrieve just the heart/brain/random organ... That'd be an easy way of killing what he put in his storage without giving them a chance to react when he releases them. Which also leads to something like processing a monster's body by pulling out it's skin/fangs/venom glands/etc...

Faa Diallo

Yeah also thought he gave away all his food

Faa Diallo

Excited to see him trounce his squad mates

Faa Diallo

I concur

Matthew Bernardin

Yeah a good start to the new book

Robert Hinshaw

Ah, my mistake, I thought he emptied it out. I knew he had the gold to spare, but I guess I just forgot how much of the stores he had on him. And to be clear, I like how generous he is in this Roman grimdark kind of setting. But I also like how practical he is, snatching and stealing so he's not ground up by the empire! Thanks for the chapter.

Erick Thiemke

food he has left: one 20 gallon rum cask - filled canteen once one 20 gallon whiskey cask two 20 gallon casks of water 10 pounds of rations (got when going to join Castile first time) three gallon of honey 15 ration bars remaining (most to maveith) One 5 lb sack of peppercorns three 5 lb bags of sea salt

Robert Hinshaw

It's nice. Though, it strains belief that Eryk would just dump his entire store. I get that he's a good guy, but in the world you've put him in, it just doesn't seem wise to empty out your stored food, especially since he's had ample reason to believe he might be hunted down at some point...and right before exploring elven ruins and maybe finding/getting stuck in a dungeon? I might give away half, but it's a fine line between kindness and idiocy.

Silver Beard

Worked fine

Erick Thiemke

not sure how this good Samaritin chapter works.
