this is very early writing from me - before World Sphere and Soldier. I dont know what I am going to do with Town Builder yet. It is an editing nightmare and the mechanics got tweaked so many times in the progression. I am trying to satisfy fans of the story by finishing book 2 but it is difficult becasue the plot lines got too unwieldy

Hey these are my notes from the book, most I made you actually explained along the way so only ended up with one contextual confusion on my part. After that I have some feedback on what I think has the makings of a great series. Mention Aussie players like the taste of the food. How are they tasting? How are they getting drunk? You say later they can’t smell and are wanting full immersion pods. The first half of this book is mostly “I went there. I did this.” I think you can remedy this with more NPC interactions, especially his future wife. Interactions where MC notes things that make them seem real, such as body language, flirting, etc. I don’t feel I understand why he’s willing to marry this NPC. The story as you’ve written it, he basically just ignores her until one day he bangs her and then keeps banging her and then marries her. I think we need more of her brought to life. MC should feel that she’s real, even if she’s a construct, and you could muse on the blurred lines and explore those themes ending with MC feeling she’s real to him. Talk about her eyes, stealing glances between each other when they are working together. Build a rapport that we can understand as readers. To me those are the weakest aspects of this story. I will say, I have read a couple of other game niche LitRPG series, and they usually don’t rise above the level of pulp in quality. Just a mindless read. They have no real stakes. But I think what you’ve done here is something surprising and interesting. This is more science fiction than fantasy with the way you’re using the technology of this game and world to ask some intriguing questions and explore some interesting ideas while at the same time giving us the good vicarious fun of the progressive genre. To me, that makes for a good story, the makings of a great one.

did you not read this chapter? those AI fear death -> you can only fear death if you are alive, if you think about it since his coincience was ripped out of his body the MC is the same as those AIs

After reading soldier I had high hopes for this book. Maybe it just comes down to personal taste but the fact most of the characters are AI, it makes me care less what happens to them. For me anyway why would I care if the MC is building stuff for what are essentially NPC's. Can you really make life better for something that isn't alive or worse? For someone that has played indebth RPGs I have both played the hero saving everyone and the villain just mindlessly killing every npc and have enjoyed it both ways. I guess I just dislike virtual words in this genre.

Maybe, could also be that this chain quest leads to the uplifting of another AI. Maybe even Jaesmin

Some minor spelling errors: to -> too, a comma or two missing. But I'm happy to see this revelation regarding the AI's motives. Tallis is already having second thoughts about leaving his AI town, so I'd imagine it wouldn't take much of a push to get him to stay. What's left for him in the real world anyway? His family can go fuck themselves if they're even alive and his body needs to be rebuilt. Purchasing the server and AI cores would more-or-less be an investment into the continued existence of the game, which would give him control over his physical body anyway. If his goal is to regain his body, then either purchasing it outright or winning the grand prize would achieve the same result. Might as well ensure his child can live if the outcome is identical.

So the Sullen Goddess Tallis is worshipping is actually Chaos?
