Fan Fiction Contest

So, you want to be a writer? I still don't consider myself such, but I wanted to give you a crack at it! If I can do it (I did not get very good grades in English in high school) - so can you!
This fan fiction has a reward of hardcover copies of books 1 and 2. Submissions will be made on Discord for the fan fiction contest.
Submissions should be between 2500 and 10000 words and will be voted on Patreon for the winner. There may be multiple rounds of voting - or not. I don't know if anyone following is even interested. The winner will be posted with credits on RR and Scribblehub. If the author wants, I will include the fanfiction in the back of one of the published books with the permission of the author.
The winner gets their version to become canon for the world!
Four Choices for Fanfiction:
Maveith's journey after he fled Stone Mountain Island, seeing his sister brained by orc slavers. How hard was his journey? He befriended a goblin on a ship. And was near a dessert at one point...that is all the info from the book so far.
Benito's path to being conscripted as a legionnaire should be comedic in nature as Benito is oblivious to many things. Maybe it has something to do with his love of gambling
Mateo's path to becoming a legionnaire. The loyal and foolishly brave man. What crime did he commit? Castile mentioned to Eryk he should talk to Mateo about it. It should be a good story
Konstantin's acquisition of his blade. he killed an elf woman for it - one who seduced him. The elf woman was a ranger he met while serving in the Hounds. Who betrayed who? Was Konstantin in elven lands of was the Ranger in Telhian lands?

The people that steal the stories cut and paste chapters from my patreon and Royal Road. One website even ripped the entire book 1 from Amazon and reposted. This is a way to engage with the readers and fans. If they wanted to write their own stories in the world of Desia I wouldn’t object as long as they didn’t include the any of the characters in my stories without my permission

Some other ideas that might be interesting would be Castile's time at the mage academy as a student or when she was appointed to her current role and met Adrian showing how the company first got started and gained their reputation.

I’ve been playing with the idea of being an author for a while now. I really like the idea but I struggle with liking my own creations for long enough to complete anything. I’m also not that confident in my actually writing ability. But I’ll give this a try!
