Can you believe we are closing in on the finish of book 5? It's absolutely crazy. The Epilogue POV is split between Castile and Renna, and you already have the Castile one. However, it may get edited some since Konstantin's POV overlapped some. This POV vote is for the prologue of book 6!
I expect book 6 to start in early January so that is why I am getting your votes now.

Enough of the original hounds have been killed off that some of the organization's original identity/mission could be lost. I could see the monster hunter portion of their job being neglected and octavian rebuilding it more in the style of the frumentarii like as a secret police loyal personally to octavian the man, not even to position of the emperor. The hounds overall could become more like sergio's (? cant remember his name, the hound commander that konstantin kills) hounds, except even more petty. A good reference point if you like podcasts is the Behind the Bastards' episode "How the Roman Empire Became a Police State". More emperors were assassinated by the praetorian guards than any other group lol

yeah, losing ullmark is probably part of it and it feels like paternak is flailing after getting his big contract. i dont like the new russian defense man either. he has fight in him but he doesnt seem to fit

Is there any chance it could be an Octavian POV? Not much news since Konstantin left, and he’s the BBEG that betrayed his father and is now emperor. I understand if you want to hold your cards close to your chest; but I was curious what his goals were, and if the kingdom is even stable.
