Might have been on a cafffeine fueled sugar high, was thinking on him just saying time or old age was to blame and since Chronos is titan god of time and heck I dunno if the first legion brought their beliefs in or if their gods might have been real but in some other form. Might have to up the ridiculous ramblings to go more comical? Like increasing the amount of Roman names each time he refers to himself?

Lol I actually had it in mind as a self important cat that has heard waaaaay too many things. There may even be a dog that thinks it's Bast, god of cats... Because he was called a bastard

Great read, enjoyed Apollo story and the idea there a hidden gods in plain sight scattered across the world our MC might interact with out knowing their true nature.
