Actually no one is sure they were even destroyed. There’s evidence they were in what is the Netherlands in 120 CE the latest evidence they were in Britannia was 108, plus Hadrians wall didn’t begin construction until 122. They disappeared from historical records after 120 but it doesn’t mean they were destroyed. However, not being reformed after a legion’s men were retired usually only happened after long periods of warfare and a reaction in army size, which weren’t in this period, or after a shameful defeat. It is possible they faced some defeat in Brittania, but there were no records of any wars or uprisings in that period though there was lots of raiding. It is also theorized they may have been defeated in the Jewish revolt, during Trajan’s conquest of Parthia, or perhaps in an Armenian revolt. We do know they aren’t listed amongst the 33 legions in two identical lists from Septimus Severus’ reign in the early 3rd century. That’s to say, the history isn’t really there so no need to worry too much about the details of we’re just working with the premise they went missing in Brittania

Definitely shouldn't be Stonehenge in the first one. The most likely reason why the 9th disappeared was a disaster battle/ ambush norh of Hadrian's wall, so in todays Scotland. Stonehenge was deep in Roman territory waaaay to the south

There are four I think. The wraith Lepidus recognized. The emperor, the other living member, and Lepidus.

I like the first option, do you have a list of those names and the positions you set for them?
