there might be in the future, but it's in the list of optional content, largely because of the need to reconcile the female-start character's inability to leave the valley with actually traveling to the city.

As usual most of the really weird stuff is all a choice. Remember that this blog entry was from a year ago, so it's pretty much as weird at a fundamental level as it's going to get. :D

i agree. i havn't been excited abotu newlife for a long time now because this game sounds so much beter but i do like Newlife's realistic setting

Interesting read. Also bear in mind that a lot of players (myself included) like to also *play* as realistically as possible, so I hope the weirdest stuff won't be forced on us (because of lacking an alternative). gl ;)
