🕑 Added 2022-06-16 21:24:13 +0000 UTCBig changes are coming in 0.18. Superpower system will be overhauled as well as the sandbox design. The player will still have agency, it will not be a linear VN. Still working hard in both of my jobs.

I'll be sorry to see the changes, I suspect. Sacrificing game play and simplifying the story line doesn't make for a better game, only for faster releases. Of course everyone is in a hurry for new content but time and efficiency could be gained by eliminating the two-tone character and picking one (doesn't matter which to me). Too much VN and too little gameplay means boring and tiresome repetitive mouse clicking and little else, at which point I usually leave a game a d go find something better to do. The variety of stuff to do in this game is what made it interesting to start with. I guess we'll just have to see what it means to have a non-linear VN and decide from there.

Personally I enjoy VNs a lot more but I respect people who like sandbox as well. However I think VN is a good choice if it helps move the story along faster which I think everyone would like :D
