So Firmament essentially takes concepts and threads and gives them physical form, and the Interface is well, an interface, through which someone can use Firmament, and Integration adds new concepts to Firmament, creating new skills people can use through the Interface.

What I wonder now is how exactly the threads were interfaced with in the first place to build… the interface. There’s really no way to directly interact with an idea if you only have physical implements. Unless, of course, an entire species collaborated to manifest a new concept and wrap it in threads entirely with their minds to create an implement that works on ideas itself. getting really deep into some scp essophysics territory here.

I was going to laugh uproariously that I was right, but it’s even funnier that I now have been given a note dedicated to my theorycraft. I can’t remember what exactly I thought the third talent was, was it assimilation? I know I caught on to all 3 starting with A.

Adamya Gaharwar

I wonder what the other talents will be, cause i cant really think of any outside of those three. Maybe destruction? also i wonder how close teluwat was to becoming a heir to the expansion scion.

Silver Linings

Yep! Threads and Concepts were always there; the Interface is a bit of both (though the important part is definitely the tapestry of Threads--the Firmament construct is built on top of that so it can be interacted with.)

Ok so if I understand correctly, the three gods created firmament by, making ideas/concepts real, then anchoring them into reality, and lastly giving it the ability to grow, then send some seeds of firmament to other planet's so the firmament can grow in different ways. But there’s a thing I still don’t get, were the threats a byproduct of creating firmament or were they always there? Before I thought that the interface was just a massive firmament construct like the skills the characters use, but now it sounds more like a giant tapestry of concept threats.

Pete Magnuson

Dang it Ethan, can you go one milestone without doing it 'wrong' and ended up more powerful?
