Hi! First off, love your writing!!! It's unhinged in a way that I've instantly fallen in love with. Second, I feel it's very important I let u know I am deeply spheksophobic, to the point I moved out of the country and live exclusively in urban areas at least partially because of it, and yes, a lot of my dreams will inevitably end in incongruous wasps or wasp nests. So, congratulations on inventing a magical creature that is literally and exactly my worst fear. If tonight my nightmares end in Dream Wasps, I will dedicate my newfound terror to you Can't wait to see what you do next:D

Silver Linings

Grubsong, Hiveblood, and Longnail are the ones I remember. Grubsong and Hiveblood because I will occasionally get very aggressive with attempts instead of just waiting patiently. XD I think I put on Mark of Unn at some point, but it wasn't for any tactical reason. It was just so something interesting could be happening through all the healing!

Chaotic Monkey

Congrats on beating PoP What were your charms of choice?

TYFTC! I like the change of pace, things were getting a bit frenetic there at the end of Book 1. I like that Cale has space to be himself without having to save the immediate vicinity (hasn't scaled up to the world just yet...). I do like the use of the teacher 'trials' to introduce them which otherwise could be complicated if Cale isn't taking a class with them.

I, for one, don't mind if you need an extra couple days somewhere to drum up an outline. Maybe an intermission chapter of some fun lore that doesn't necessarily connect to the plot would be cool?

I do enjoy Cale just not caring about the species of the person he is mildly-inappropriately flirting with. (Right in front of his salad, uhm, apprentices!) Dragon? Living Armor? Doesn't matter. Fits right in with the rest of the chaos.

Pleasant chance of pace. VERY much looking forward to more on the stuff left off at the end of book 1, but this is very nice - I do love me some Cale shenanigans!

Finishing the path of pain after doing it to relax and being surprised by not being able to do it anymore is a very Cale thing to do tbh

Planning? What for? We like the book this far. It's true that Book 1's timeline was... 2 days? Maybe. With epilogue. But it was fun to read and no needs for any more planning
