Marquess

Yeah, Marais Executioner’s Sword was the first thing that popped to mind lol.

Marquess

In a way, his hatred is entirely justifiable (albeit shallow). Literally every issue in his life except his stay at the orphanage has been the result of richer/‘more important’ people messing with him for their own personal gain. He hates the rich and powerful, because they’ve proven time and time again to always be bad news for him.

Robert Blaise

You know, once upon a time I was seriously contemplating giving him a scythe :D. And I technically did in the form of his soul construct lol, but yeah... Scythes are just ass weapons, unfortunately. War scythes can work, but they're not curved like the farmer's scythe, which kind of defeats the point. Very sadge.

Reynold Carvalho

I wanted a kickass grim reaper sycthe but oh well Big Unga Bunga Sword will do :)

Alberto Sanchez

Just because there is a plausible explanation as to why Freddy is the way that he is, doesn't mean his behaviour and/or thought processes are socially acceptable. There is a VERY big difference between explainable and excusable

Ihsan Gunay

Hopefully with some spikes so it counts as a weapon!

Robert Blaise

But yeah, they're bought primes to use them early in life

Robert Blaise

The offspring of archhumans are just normal humans. Whether their parents are one-stars or five-stars there is no difference.

Kevin McKinney

This is good. Hope he does get help!

Tryptic

I think the scene is great, because Thor doesn't have the needed backstory and Freddy needs a harsh wake-up call. I also think there's a great follow-up scene here when the therapist stumbles out of the room, gasping for breath and crying to Thor.

Caliban42

I’d like to ask a question. It’s implied that the offspring of Archhumans are already Archumans. Do they inherit this from their parents or are Primes bought so that they can be given to them at a young age?

DuskDeadman

You know, when you put it like that, Freddy honestly has his shit together way better than he has any right to, and I'm surprised he's not more of a psychopath.

Cinque Culver

So, I’m insulted for Freddy and Thor needs to fucking chill and make sure he takes the time to understand what Freddy’s journey has been like before passing judgement. He assumed Freddy was angry about being an orphan, who was adopted and abandoned by crackheads but doesn’t really know or understand shit about Freddy yet. Freddy is actually handling his damage well imho. Let’s recap after being abandoned he became an overworked verbally abused laborer, desperate to establish a future for himself, who fought off dungeon break monsters as a mortal to get his own prime which he was cheated completely out of. Most people would have checked out after just that. Luckily the combat utility of his current prime was not able to be fully determined. Still he goes on to become the arch-human pawn of other ancient arch-humans. He was then kidnapped just after beginning to have real freedom, thrown in solitary confinement having body parts removed daily for a long fucking time. He was then enslaved, to pay off his torture expenses and sent to a prison camp where he “couldn’t heal himself too quickly” without becoming a science experiment, and ended up having to re-isolate in order evade other prisoners who wanted to kill him. Later he has to gruesomely self-mutilate and reself-mutilate just to escape the camp after everyone else in the camp is massacred by cultivation aliens. And that was the intro… Freddy actually is handling himself damn well only being an opportunist vigilante at this point, lol, ijs…

Beeees!

Executioner sword will be lit in Freddie's hands I can already tell

Beeees!

Damn bro, heavy af. Needed to happen tho. Our boi has way to much trauma and hatred built up and Thor is a genuinely good guy, time for Freddy to level up his emotional prowess and not just physical

BrandyLeeT

Oh man Freddy realy knows how to hold a grudge. If this hit him that hard. Then mayby I did underestimate how much hate Mark and the Clan and the Empress are gonna get....

Gio

First thing Freddy should realize is that Thor is to Freddy what Freddy wanted to be to Lucas. Only Thor is doing it right, and his motives are clear and out in the open. Thor seems surprisingly well adjusted. Maybe he is the weird one.

DuskDeadman

Also, what are the chances he makes some blood armor?

Petersaurus reximus reader

A little dose of reality is good for Freddie. Understandably Freddie's been proper f'd every which way, but I like that Thor is trying to instill some actual reason to his rage! At the end of the day, Freddie may realize he IS the elite, if not classically groomed as such. Hopefully his new archhuman friend helps him realize that.

DuskDeadman

That is some deep seated hatred. On a lighter note, over sized swords are the shit, and an oversized executioner's sword fits our blood thirsty boy well. Anyone else think of the sword from elden ring?
