It's a glitch that happens if you try buying or selling before introducing yourself to the whole town. I tested it several times and it only occurs if you try buying before talking with everyone in town. The brothel is the only area in town that doesn't need to be visited.

I think I found the issue with the wrong sprite showing, but not the issue with the item purchase. Do you know how it happened?

There might be a few issues in the new version, when i went to the farm and the brothel for the first time, it showed my character as if they were under the butt expansion potion. Also I don't know what happened before but another time i tried to purchase items from another character and they didn't go into my inventory

Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I keep trying to buy recipes and the game tells I don't have enough sliver coins but I have like a 100 sliver coins but 0 gold so I think I found a bug
