Bad News...

So... my computer broke. I heard a loud crash while I was in the other room and when I got there, my computer was on the floor. Parts on the casing was broken off, but the actual parts of the computer seemed to be intact. But when I went to start it up to see if it still worked... it didn't. I can only assume my dog must have gotten stuck on one of the cords and pulled it down from the desk it was on. Luckily, thanks to the problem I had before with it overheating, I got an external hard drive and put all my important files on it, so I didn't lose anything too important. I'm currently using my laptop to make this post, but unfortunately it can't run any of the programs I use so I won't be able to do any work for the time being. That computer was pretty old and I've been meaning to upgrade, so I guess I have a pretty good excuse to do that now. It'll probably take a few days for me to order a new computer and for me to get it all set up, but I'll let you all know once I'm back up and running. I apologize for yet another delay, and I'll try to get back to work as soon as I can. Tomorrow I'll see if there's anything I can do to get it working again. But for now, I'm going to get some sleep...

As someone who recently had to replace his grafics card due to a power surge, I'd say this is completely understandable. And seeing as its almost Christmas I'd say its the best time to get that upgrade. Good luck 👍.

that sounds pretty bad. thank goodness you have all of your work backed on an external hard drive. take the time you need to get everything set back up. hope you enjoy your new computer when you get it.

I think we all understand that these things happen. I'm sure we are all very glad it wasn't catastrophic. And, who knows? Perhaps a new, clean machine will inspire you to do something fantastic.

Don't worry about it take as long as you need we'd rather have quality product at a slow pace then bad product at a quick one.
