Christine is smaller so the brood probably had less biomass to consume for the early stages of their growth because they had to focus most of the calories on reconstructing her into a host. With Sonakshi the brood had alot more biomass to breakdown to get a bigger jump start on their initial growth

A what if scenario where all of the woman infected where abducted before giving birth to aliens and are kept as well cared breeding machines, but now bred in a traditional kind of sense. (Tbh all of the infected victims now have deliciously modified breedable child bearing bodies)
