Im guessing that this may be Kims sister. A bit of poetic justice that could happen could be kim asks her sister to watch Christine while she and her husband leave town for a few days and Christine sees how she treats kim so Christine infects her with the alien parasite to get back at followed by by Kim returning a few days later to see the house filled with fast food items and her sister having her proportions enlarged.
