Celebrating two weeks as a Florida resident with a rocket launch!

Up until then, I was just working in Florida. You all are now directly supporting my full-time job of both living and working in Florida. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Here is some of the fun stuff I have been up to in my first two weeks as a resident:
I tried capturing the sun setting behind the Ponce de Leon lighthouse last year and because it only works during certain times of year, I tried it again a few days after moving in, capturing a really epic shot but still was sort of skunked by clouds! (even though this shot looks pretty epic)

The very next day, I drove the hour up to New Smyrna Beach because I wanted it lower and directly behind the lighthouse still 🤣
... and it worked!

So that was pretty epic.
One thing I thought about was, this shot is limited in the time of year I can capture it because I am restricted to being land based for the photo. In researching the Florida lighthouses, many of them are not directly on the mainland of Florida. Many are out a few miles away from the coast and so I've been looking at investing in a roof rack and kayak so I can go close to them and make some epic photos of them! Aerial photography from the kayak with the drone/quadcopter will really bring my photography to a whole different level! So expect more cool lighthouse photography in the near future.
I got to see a static fire of a Falcon 9 rocket before the 10th batch of Starlink satellites launch:

And went to set up our remote cameras for launch the next day:

Buuuutttt the launch was scrubbed only a few hours after setting up our cameras.

The sunsets here are on another level too.
I can't wait to see the photos I am able to make over the next few months! Thank you for keeping me going and for allowing me this career.

Thank you Damon! I am on the coast yes! Appreciate your offer to help. I've gotten moved in all well and good but hope to meet you someday and say thanks! Hopefully around the SpaceX Crew-1 launch it will be a safe idea again to have a meetup :-)
