You guys have it all wrong. If you want to do the 2 day work week, you just alternate who works on specific days, which means that nothing is different than how it is now. All stores/services will still have workers every day of the week. For example, you have firefighters who work on Mon/Tue, then you have others that work on Wed/Thur, etc. This way, all days are covered. It actually INCREASES the amount of jobs available since individuals will only be working two days a week. You'll need to hire more people to cover all the shifts for the week.
