…which was then mentioned, I feel like I had a very similar teenage life to Alex just on the other side of the pond. Both mu330 and link80 played my little Yorkshire town, sadly my shit pink band where not on the bill either time (which was the correct choice)

I read they came up with the idea to connect all these stories until after all the individual bits were filmed. And the wrapper (about a bunch of illeagal VHS tapes collection) was filmed after.

I'm unreasonably into how much fun Alex has with the intros to these. Real good one this week. Adam Wingard is a tough nut to crack--I think he just thrives directing things that are intentionally silly. The Guest and You're Next are two of my favorite movies, and his Godzilla movies are far and away my favorite American Godzillas, and they're all fun as hell. Blair Witch and Death Note... not as good a fit
