Thank you for providing insights that resist (in a good way) shrinking the Overton window on this topic. There’s such a strong conservative and even some Left leaning effort to shrink the Overton window on this topic as you alluded to. Your addition to the topic as a dual Master degree historian is helpfully thorough in drawing a clear history of why things are happening and what is behind a lot of myths about the situation’s impossibility to solve.
