She should have a less expensive face with an uncanny animalistic feeling, but at the same time it shouldn’t be too blank or else it looks derpy and is hard to tell what’s going on. I’m still trying to find a balance between.

It’s hard to tell, but probably because most of her neutral expressions feel a bit too derpy or cutesy, at the same time the more intense ones are not convincing enough. The lack of eyebrows makes it hard, but giving her eyebrows took away the uncanny feeling

I think all the drawings of Imuthar you have posted have communicated the feeling you are trying to achieve. If I may ask, what about them did you dislike?

The “too innocent” one could be a version of her younger self, maybe! Either way these look GREAT
