Update on my leg situation

Figure I would make a post to update you all on my leg situation. I have both good news and bad news on it. The bad news is that its getting worse and my doctor is not taking it seriously. He rejected the ER's diagnosis, and decided that he'll send me to a different specialist than the ER recommended, but ALSO that he won't refer me until the next time I see him. So, I'm now waiting on that next appointment...
The better news is that I am growing more used to the amount of pain and exhaustion I'm experiencing as a result of this issue, and so I'm becoming less useless. I should be able to get the Adventure High update done this month, and will be trying to get as much work done as I can while I am functional.

Time to fire your Doctor, and inform your Insurance why. If you need to see a specialist, and you don't get a referral on the first visit, that's unacceptable. Now, the Doctor can have valid reasons for disagreeing with the ER's diagnosis, and maybe valid reasons for not accepting the ER's suggested specialist, but you should have gotten something for the pain.

I'd get a new doctor immediately! Chronic pain should ALWAYS be taken seriously!

Sorry to hear that, that really sucks. Maybe consider changing doctors if you can?
