That's the thing with justice tho it's not necessarily just.

Of course! That depends on the context though. Usually my stories follow people that are rather innocent. My personal tastes lean towards the corruption of good people. So it's hard to justify anything as a punishment. In Minh's scenario you could probably make a case that her negligence in terms of the marriage has warranted these consequences, though I'd personally consider it a tad excessive at this point.. :P

I don't know... you could also easily brand it as "just punishment. The one getting punished loses something but learn a valuable lesson.

I see what you mean. I meant it in the sense that the concept of Leaving-them-with-a-little-piece-of-themselves-so-that-they-can-know-and-understand-what-they-lost is what a villain would do. It's vile in my book, though it's the best way to handle corruption, degeneration and transformation in my humble opinion. I do sometimes mix it up though, depending on the story.

Grif end

Vile? In some circles this is considered being "cultured" and i think most people here would agree this is the correct way to look at it.

In this particular iteration it's never been disclosed. Ever since the thing started Minh has been resisting the changes and hated pretty much every second of the journey. I figure it's a good place to end it when she finally comes to terms with her situation or has been sufficiently altered to the point where she wont have any "regrets". Though I'm partial to the thought as I want there to be some sort of understanding of what she's lost.. What can I say, I'm vile like that. :)

Forgive me if this was mentioned before somewhere but what's the criteria for the app to end it's course?
