SoundPad Beta - The Dungeon
🕑 Added 2015-05-22 18:12:31 +0000 UTC Greetings Patrons, I've been working on an auxiliary component of Tabletop Audio, one that I hope you find useful. I originally conceived of Tabletop Audio as a lazy DM's tool. Push 'play' and get on with the other stuff. However, I've heard from enough people to know that there are all kinds of DMs out there. For those who like a little bit more control over their audio environment I created SoundPad. The first installment of SoundPad is "The Dungeon". It's stocked with backgrounds, tones, creatures, events and music. Using it should be pretty self explanatory, If you're familiar with Tabletop Audio you'll grok the filter controls immediately - e.g. click "Creatures" to only show the creature sounds! This is an early Beta so it's not really intended for release into the wilds of the Internet. The page isn't directly linked from the homepage yet so you'll have to use the direct link to get to it. If you would like to share it with your group or friends or whatever I'm fine with that, I'd just like to keep it off Reddit etc.. until I can be sure it's somewhat ready for prime time! Also, if this isn't for you, fear not! I'm absolutely going to keep creating ambiences. Let me know what you think! http://tabletopaudio.com/dungeon_sp.html best, Tim gm@tabletopaudio.com Twitter: @TabletopAudio.com Facebook: facebook.com/tabletopaudio

Best audio tool for gaming that I have found so far. Amazing, the quality convinced me instantly. I support you now on Patreon. Thanks for this top notch work!
Tabletop Audio
I'll certainly look into that, although I can think of a few instances where it wouldn't be a good idea. Possibly on a per-sound basis..
Tabletop Audio
This has been released into the wild so feel free to share it as you see fit. Thanks!
Exceptional work!

This is great! I notice they fade out when you press the stop button, which is awesome. Could they fade in as well when you press play?
This is so great! Well done! Your site is quickly becoming the only audio source I need for my group.

Love this! Can't wait to try it out on my group!
Tabletop Audio
So glad you like it!
Tabletop Audio
A possibility but maybe not in the very near future. Don't worry about the bandwidth - the full SoundPad is about 6mb whereas a single ambience is 15mb.
Tabletop Audio
Thanks!

This one isn't based on earlier ones but I hope in the future there will be an orgainic flow between ambience and soundPad. Still early days so I'm considering everything.
AMAZING

This is great! Whether they're based on previous ambiances or not, I can't wait to hear more!
I really like this. Very useful!

Also, a curiosity, any chance you would be willing to do an offline version of that code? Even like a javascript running on node kinda thing? I feel bad about sucking down your bandwidth.

Love it. Any chance you'll go back through some older ambiences and make SoundPads for them?
