New SoundPad: Combat
🕑 Added 2015-11-30 17:50:00 +0000 UTCGreetings Patrons,
As promised, here's the latest SoundPad, Combat.
Combat is a medieval/fantasy fight simulator and is a little different than the other SoundPad offerings in that it's the first one that isn't location based. My idea for Combat was to present a selection of utility sounds that could be used to enhance the fight portions of your stories and games. It would be ideal to use this in conjunction with 10 minute ambiences, other SoundPads or music selections.
A few of the effects included are multi-part sounds - indicated by a x4 or x3. This means that the sound contains more than one version and each version will play sequentially. Basically, when you hit something repeatedly with your sword, you'll actually get one of 3 sounds. Additionally I added the trap sounds from combat to the Dungeon SoundPad because it just made sense.
Total filesize is under 3MB for this one. I've also made some adjustments to all the SoundPads which make them appear better on mobile devices.

Thanks so much for continued support!
Best,
Tim

Is there a download link for this, like the other sound pad files? Thanks.

Bravo, excellent work once again! I can't wait to see what we're getting next! Btw is you're ever planning to expand this, war elephants, catapult hits, fire and a collapsing tower/wall/building would make excellent additions. Sorry, can't help shouting my ideas :D

Very cool - the effects are excellent. The multi-part sounds are a nice touch to provide variety.
