New Ambience: Skirmish
🕑 Added 2016-04-05 01:31:26 +0000 UTC Everybody's got a different idea about battle music. On any given day, I have different ideas about battle music. I went in to this piece thinking less about theme and harmony and more about momentum. It had to push, then let up, and then push some more in a different way. Fight sounds were added to give it a more 'ripped from a film' type vibe. As always, spending every day for a week with something has a net-loss effect on critical perspective. And like all art, it's never done, I just got to the point where I had finished working on it.I hope you like this one and that it finds it's way into your games.

Hi - I was wondering if there was an ambience only version of this available that I might have missed? I often find a need for background fighting effects (no horses like your other awesome war sounds).

It's definitely a 'music forward' selection. Combine it with the combat soundPad for more oomph!

I like it, personally I think the fight sounds get drowned out a bit to much by the music, but still very well done.
