Time for Day 2 of Finnish Brutality 2022! We have five more stages today, and for people like me in Recon Division, five more 3km runs in armor and kit. I woke up pretty darn sore from Day 1, and it took a few minutes to stretch out my calves to the point I could actually walk...let's see how Day 2 will treat me.
A few gear notes:
My camo is all Finnish M05, from Varusteleka. The kilt is no longer offered, though. My rifle is a WWSD with an Aimpoint CompM5 and a Vortex 3x magnifier. Pistol is a Laugo Alien. Knife is an Anthropoid from Acta Non Verba. Plate carrier, backpack, and belt are also from Varusteleka. Boots are from AKU.

Well done Ian! Stable shooting understandably difficult after running. Can't help but think that the bipod must become way more important when shaking, eh?
These brutality videos bring back memories. I spent 8 years in a force recon unit in the Marines. We did similar things but were deprived of sleep an keep cold and wet the whole time. Then were offered hot coffee and a warm bed to sleep in if we would quit. Great video thanks! 👍😁

Left-handed uppers and bolts are not standard parts, and they don't really convey any advantage for a left-hander anyway.

Yeah, Recon was just for the extra challenge. The pillow was Garand Thumb - the Varusteleka guys brought it along for the lulz.

I just had a look at finnish brutality website do I see correctly there's no advantage to doing Recon over armoured? (e.g. less gear weight?) It's just purely for the hardmode challenge? eta: also what was the picture on the body pillow? Is it you? Or possibly a cowboy?

that fin pattern alone is cool as heck. nice raven patch. 15k's a day huh. not easy for sure on 2nd day. to SEE darn targets is keeping me from irons for a great deal these days! alas ain't have like 20year young eyes anymore.
