Well. This is only part one. Plenty of time to draw the assistant into things.

A story about becoming slowly entrapped by a sentient material. It certainly is different. I liked Jessica, spurned scientist desperate to be recognised for her invention. I’m surprised her assistant didn’t make an appearance. The black goo, you establish early on that it expands from moisture so its a great kink device to use. It seems sentient enough to want to expand even refusing to take Jessica’s face yet showed no hesitation in taking her girlfriends. Which suggested either its intelligent or it obeys Jessica. You capture the feeling of loosing control well, becoming enslaved to her own creation.
