I look for reasonably uniform ejection patterns when reloading for my M1 Garand & AR10 variants, BAR, FAL & such. Particularly with the Garand, considering the well known potential for op rod issues given over spec pressures at the gas port. I'd first assume that wide variation in ejection angles indicated really AWFUL quality control in my ammo. If the ammo chronographed as consistent, I'd take a hard look at the gas system and bolt lock up. If the gas system & lockup components were clean, correctly configured and not overly worn, then video a string of shots over chronograph with a very high speed video camera to try and diagnose WHAT IS CAUSING A WIDE VARIATION IN BOLT SPEEDS?!

that ejection seems constant rather far backwards. looks 4'o clock with all if not 5. can't they tweak it to rather 2'o clock? maybe jumpier but I the bp could be better to carry. a bullpup in 7,62 makes better use of the concept than in 5,56 IMO. never made in big numbers yet.

I noticed after the first string of shots the bolt went home when the magazine was removed. I'm guessing (hopefully) it was just a fluke as it didn't happen after. Looks fun!

Ian, quick question. How would you compare MSBS Grot vs CZ Bren 2? Given there are some similarities in age, design, region etc.

Mrgunsngear

The bullpup looks cool but did look jumpier for sure

Quite the variety of paths the empty brass took as it was being ejected; I think the bull pup was the most consistent, and it still sprayed them in a number of different directions. And four of the ten shots from the 7.62x51 version actually hit you in the arm; a good thing you were wearing a long sleeve shirt (the result of previous experiences with hot brass, perhaps?)
