The Very Rare FN CAL at the Range (ad-free)

They replaced it with the FNC, which saw much wider success. The CAL is quite scarce today, and it was a very cool opportunity to take one out to the range! It performed rather better than I expected, to be honest...

Actually, I'm not correct either, the bolt is rotating, so that's different from the FAL, but it doesn't have the same setup of like 7 or 8 locking lugs like on a Stoner. Rather it has four, and they're spaced very differently, with two on each side of the bolt head, one in front of the other.

It uses a rotating bolt similar to an AR18 or Stoner 63, so it's pretty different.

well heat did a not too bad job showing the reloads and movement. I assume ar18 guts, huh. looks cooler than the fnc with the fal like stock.
