Taking a (3 day) break
🕑 Added 2024-07-17 00:15:12 +0000 UTCI know I just said in my last post that I was going to finish 42 before taking a brief break, and that it was unlikely to mess up my weekly releases, but.... I'm afraid I need it a bit more than I thought. Writing right now feels like slamming my head into a wall, and I really don't want to get burnt out again.
I'm sorry for the suddenness of this, and will try to get 42 and 43 done in short order once I'm back.

You're the second one to suggest I take a break, in the last 24 hours, but I don't think I need one.... (Admittedly the last person thought I should take said break to build a buffer now that I've basically all but finished volume 3, but still...) The three day break I took was good enough. I like writing Demon Queened, and I'm happy when I can release things and get everyone's thoughts. Though I do admittedly wanna take a tiny bit of time to work on some one-shots, DQ-related or otherwise... We'll see how things shake out, I guess? I might need a break to maintain my buffer, but I might not.

Feel free to just take the week off if you need to. Just take your time to write something in every so often because you don't want to just get out of the habit of writing.
