2-Gun on the Elbe: SVT40 vs M1 Garand
🕑 Added 2024-01-20 12:00:02 +0000 UTCToday I'm taking an SVT-40 to the monthly 2-Gun Action Challenge Match, and I'm joined by my friend Tom shooting an M1 Garand. We're both using moderately accurate gear, and so naturally I have a TT-33 Tokarev for my pistol and Tom has a 1911. So, let's see if I can hold my own with the Soviet guns...

still. if ruger would bring a hybrid garand/mini in 223 with a 8 or 10rd enbloc... sales through the roof for them IMO.

svt should be a not to shabby rifle but something about it.. uhem... no. well caloiber is nice. damn I'd like a garand! 1500€ STARTING prices by now. m1 has a far better feeding.

Having shot my M1 Garand abit, if the suns staring at you, it can be hard to aim with the small hole of the rear sight. Tom crushed it!

Got to say... watching Ian trying to get a little lower with his rifle- I have been there, wishing I could dig a pit for my 30 rd mag on my 16. loved the video- great job.
