You mock some of the English prop-master holsters, but you need to compare them to the official E. German shoulder rig for the Makarov [aka "Soviet's 'PPK we have at home'"] before you beat them down too harshly; I got one back during the halcyon surplus days of the early '00s and man, it was barely worth the $5 I spent on it... 😂

Interesting than the original B-M holds a concealed hammer Centennial, but my Bianchi Agent 9R, based on the same design wouldn’t.

Amazing that after six decades of reading Fleming's books I'm banging away at a keyboard about these damned shoulder holsters--the fatal allure of the "Fleming Effect." My X15s will actually hold autos as well-1911s or BHPs anyway. But for actual concealment they're marginal, as there's a lot of leather and buckles and such. You have to be careful getting into bucket seats and armchairs or run the risk of tearing a belt loop or having a gun butt hit you in the face or neck--especially if you're a short-torsoed male. The draw stroke is actually quite difficult, but you can cheat and gain speed by drawing the gun up and out instead of through the front (Ayoob wrote about this decades ago). If you're barrel-chested your bicep may hit your pec as you commence the draw, a problem with most shoulder rigs, but the "horizontal" holsters present the butt in a way that makes initial acquisition, and a firing grip, much easier to obtain. (And then there's the Ken Null SMZ, but that's for another time.)

massad and clint would be thrilled. I am a pretty big fan of shoulder holsters. some time with a sw5906 in a bianchi x15 in a suit job related. in colder climates with health issues maybe lot of sitting or driving still a place for them. I just thing horizontal (cool looking but..) real antisocial sweeping someone nonstop behind that muzzle. my x15 has a thumbsnap but that's removable. great holster.
