The "no folding stock" hasn't been an issue til now as the infantry really wasn't sufficiently mechanized to worry about it. Conversion to an AR-18 design will follow in due course, I'm sure. It's just a matter of time. The rear charging isn't as big of an issue; one learns & adapts. Personally, I'd go w/ something forward that just encircles the gas tube perforation in the front of the receiver & pushed back on the bolt from there, and some manufacturer will manage to come up w/ that 20 years on, as most of my ideas typically come to fruition in that pattern...

Can't see anything but trees in that postage-stamp sized vid. Get the camo to Brent0331 for a proper "Where's Waldo" featuring the design! 😁

Plan9fromkansas

I like the Where’s Waldo format of this video. Also, thanks for fielding my question.

A firearms Q&A in an airport. And you actually made it to Finland? Amazing!

Forgotten Weapons

They really do. Check this out; I'm one of the guys in it: https://www.instagram.com/p/DGN2AczNF4b/

EyeBall

Both sets of camo that you wore blended very well into the winter environment.

WHAT does beretta owns by now?! getting like a lot, isn't it. was that coverall like TOO warm with movement? looks quiet a bit insulated. -- thought so. europe. typical. still better than germany it looks. well those reservist would need to get to a local armory. bet jari would love carry permits. the guy seems very keen about handgun skills.

Ian, IMO the American M16 and AR10's have some serious flaws and the new M23 is merely a clone of these rifles. The two biggest ones I see are rear mounted charging handle and the stock mounted recoil spring. You can't design the rifle with a folding stock. I know both Sweden and Finland have well developed arms industries. Both can develop an assault rifle like the German HK433 which has a gas piston operating system, folding stock and forward mounted ambidextrous charging handles.

Love the varied locations for the questions.

IPG

Cool, thanks for the impromptu poll.

Forgotten Weapons

Hopefully about 2 years.

When can we expect your book on Finnish arms?
