In the past couple days, I have had two people send me two different images, asking me to identify the odd rifles in them. Both were posted claiming to be Ada Blackjack, and Inuit woman who survived stranded alone on Wrangel Island for about 9 months in 1923. Both were actually AI-generated fake slop. This is particularly irritating to me because real images of the real Ada Blackjack are readily available at the merest search online. There is no reason to disrespect this woman's memory by making up fake pictures of here. Yuck.

It is likely that the person asking some AI tool to generate these images, was not even aware that the output is garbage. It seems people are starting to use these things as an alternative to Google, and are not aware that a search engine is totally different from a machine that vomits seamlessly glued-together regurgitated fragments from arbitrary training data. A.I. generated images should have a mandatory “A.I. slop” watermark.

Already sick to death of the garbage AI content that has begun to clutter YT; bot narrators were bad enough, now its the entire vids that are AI generated bloviated fecular matter from start to finish. YT needs to have a "Pull the plug on this AI nonsense!" option to shut down these lame attempts at a bad-faith cash grab.
