I pay attention to anything in videos about the AR 18 or any related firearms such as this one because I had a Sterling AR 180 many years ago and still rue the day that I had to sell it. Maybe it’s time to look at one of these!

You say it’s no frills and bare-bones, but what does AR15 or Mini14 do that this doesn’t do?

I've found my TTE SAR-80 to be surprisingly accurate. It has to be the cheapest looking and feeling .223 semi auto I own, but it sure groups well.

it puts bullets downrange, doesn't it. so... something with a hole in it wouldn't know the difference between a nice pricy rifle or this.

Off topic but any chance you’ll be able to review the Knight’s Armament PDW 6x35mm? You haven’t been to their facility in a while (iirc), any reason?

Too good for Elbonia?

Makes you wonder if the UK had gone with this design over the SA-80, with its simplified manufacturing, would they have avoided the quality issues or was the state of British arms manufacturing such that any design would have been botched

It may be no frills, but it works well. It's a nice piece
