It says something of Cookie's self-esteem when she only mentions that she's tall by squirrel standards. It appears that she's resigned herself to many defeats in her life that she doesn't care much about what Nyarai has to say, even if most are about her greatest failures. Also, is it me or Nyarai reflexively brought her hostess side as she's rubbing Cookie's head under her foot?
