Hey gang! We've let Arlo know that we're happy to cover any shipping costs to mail issues anywhere in the world, in the event that someone who lives outside the United States has their name drawn out of the hat as a winner here. No worries! Cut our favorite blue monster a bit of slack, as it's our fault for the trouble if anything – we should have just kept the prize issues here at our office rather than shipping them to Arlo in advance, which essentially passed the buck of having to pay to re-ship them on to him. Maybe he'll be able to add an official Arlo autograph this way, though, and whoever wins worldwide can look forward to get that extra bit of awesomeness in their mailbox!

I totally agree Nathan. I think a lot of people have felt deceived joining Patreon for this chance to win, only to then be told they're not eligable. Some people may unsubscribe because of this

Gotta say Arlo, very disappointed in the decision to exclude everyone outside of the US. I've had personal experience shipping things all over the world and know it can cost 2-3 times more to go international. But considering that this is a contest for Patrons, people giving you regular monetery support, I feel like the postage costs should be seen as a business cost. I could totally understand if it was a general YouTube giveaway, but us guys on here are helping to fund the show. Also irks me that you only announced this factor in a 'Patreon-only' post, but talked about the giveaway in a public video and admitted that one of the reasons of doing this was to gain more Parons, some of which have started giving specifically for this chance. I've been supporting Arlo from the early days, and I'll continue to give monthly as I really enjoy your content, but it's still a bummer and I hope you rethink this for the fans. ------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT Really glad to see Arlo opening the prize draw to all the non-Americans on here, but even happier to see Arlo respond so well. Both Arlo and NintendoForce have been great and have earned even more kudos in my eyes. It would have been very easy to sit back and ignore the comments, but like the T-Shirt design contest on Twitter, you handled the concerns really well. Good luck to everyone else here and I'm looking forward to your future videos Arlo!

Sorry Arlo, I had no service so I couldn't comment in time. I don't know if you remember me, but I will always remember you and your excellent idea, for a YouTube channel, with the main person being a blue puppet, of which all ages enjoy the content, as well as the main character. As more videos come out, the personality gets stronger, Pikmin, etc. Also I just want to mention that child friendly, video game content IS a popular category on YouTube. But not all mothers/parents/fathers are ok with their child watch a clearly 27 year old adult play video games, or talk about them. But when it is a puppet, they may be more accepting to watch the content. Making your content very open for ALL ages to enjoy. So even if I don't get picked, I will still enjoy your content, and still get that magazine. Thanks Arlo! Keep up The Great Work!

l love video game magazines. I used to subscribe to Nintendo Power around the launch of the Gameboy Advance, and also IGN and Game Informer briefly. I never had the luxury but I've always wanted to be a magazine collector. I hope I win that issue of Nintendo Force!
