5/3/18 and Game Jam Day 4
🕑 Added 2018-05-04 03:15:23 +0000 UTC Hey folks. I was at school pretty much all day today, but I still got something together to show before the day is done. What you see above is the "level select" screen of the game. I realized recently that we're already half way through the event and you all don't know about the setting behind the game yet!To fit with the theme of the game jam (paperwork), the game takes place in the future, where for certain reasons (which will be revealed later) spanking has once again become commonplace in the world. So common in fact, that in order to give all of the spankings that have been earned or assigned, there needed to be a whole new career of professional spankers! The player is an up and coming professional spanker, who will deal with domestic cases around their neighborhood and town. You will select clients who have spanking cases that are unresolved and visit them to carry out their sentence.
Ideally, that is how the game will work. With the time constraint, I'll probably only get one spanker and one spankee done by the time the game is due. However, if the game is popular enough and people enjoy it enough I'll think about continuing it for a little longer. Adding new characters, events, and other things would definitely not be difficult. Development with this is way faster than SQII at the moment too, and I'm all for that.

If I were to continue, I'd add a male spankee and male player character option next. I haven't gotten far into developing the story/interactions, but I kind of want each spankee to have their own sub stories that you find out more about by taking their cases. I haven't "finished" any one interaction, but adding characters only really involves making a couple portraits of them, making some variations of the butt graphic, and adding lines for speaking interactions. It's a trade off of development time versus options for the player.
I love the idea, I love the execution, and you better believe that this game is gonna be popular :) so I hope you keep adding characters! I would love to have to spank some male brats for "real world" offenses! it gives to your methods a fresh feel after spanquest which is set on a fantasy world. P.S.: I still prefer spankquest lol
