5/6/18 and Discipline Delivered (alpha)

I proud to announce and release the first alpha version of my submission to the game jam on Aotk, Discipline Delivered.I hadn't posted any updates with it recently because I wanted to keep some of it a surprise, but here we are. Some parts are rough around the edges, but with the time constraint I was surprised with what I finished. Unfortunately there isn't any story or direction at the moment, you just pick one of the cases and play through it. Although all of the tools are there if I did continue this to add more story stuff. I tried to balance the score values in the game, but I could only test so much on my own. The controls are just to use the mouse in the menus and the "notes" are hit with the <, v, and > arrow keys for the left, center and right notes respectively. The only thing that doesn't work at all at this time is the "records" section.
Also, I have another announcement to make. I worked my butt off this last week on this game, an insane amount. This was time I could have used for developing Spanquest II, or doing schoolwork. As much as I am in need of it, I didn't make this game a "paid" update that I would charge you all for, since this isn't Spanquest, the game I've been talking about here for the last year. A while ago, someone I now pointed out to me this site called Kofi, where people can support creators of various media by buying them "coffee's" which are a way of saying 3$ donations. There isn't any pressure to you readers, but if you were willing to, I would appreciate any one-time donations you would be willing to throw my way.

If not, I hope you enjoy the game! If enough of you like it, I could switch to developing this for a while. Adding new content is definitely way way faster than SQII at the moment, and with my school days only getting more busy, it would mean more regular content for you all. There were loads of things I wanted to still do but didn't have time for with the game, like having notes you hold and release to signify harder swats, the record screen where you see your case history, and obviously way more characters (including player characters). Let me all know what you think!

The X button didn't work for me while looking at Jake's file by the way. Also this one is good and does have potential, but I do prefer Spanquest. However, imo you should judge which one you work on based on how much time you have readily available. Since you have one that requires more development and one that requires less development, judge what you work on based on that.
For now, while you can’t invest much time in SQ2, I would really like to see what you can do with this game, maybe things like, bare bottom spankings, a game over where you get spanked, or maybe the spankee turn the tables on you, this game is really something we’ve never seen before, so it would be really cool to continue it, when you have time of course

As much as I'd like Spanquest to be finally in a stable state, development for that is a lot more slow. Especially since finals are right around the corner, and I'll be on a short trip right after the end of the semester, if I were to focus on DD for the next few weeks it would mean more actual content for you all to enjoy. That being said, I learned a lot from this little diversion that I think I can apply to Spanquest as well. I accomplished so much in a week, if I had the same drive and focus with Spanquest II, I could have a demo done in two weeks. But I won't have the time for a while, so I'll have put it to the side for now.
Amazing! really enjoyable, fun and so well constructed :) About Kofi, I will check it: I'm part of the crowd who always wants more, more content, more variation, who asks for specific stuff releated to particular kinks and/or interests... but can't either program, or draw, so can only ask others. And the least we can do the ones who can't contribute with content of their own is help support those who can ^^ As for this releated to spankquestII, although I like that game, I think Spankquest is an ambitious project, with potential to be the best spanking game ever (till you create spankquest III lol) so if you asked "would you rather me spending time on this or on spankquest... spanquest it is"

Those were all things I definitely had planned, great minds think alike I guess. In order, I'd add a male player character, teenaged spankees, add in the dialogue/story segments for each character, and then continue from there. I learned a trick recently (more like I realized how stupid I was for not doing this earlier) and I'm actually going to update the character art in the game to not look like garbage.

An excellent entry! And one I can say almost surely has my vote. The game itself is fun, the flavor text is nice, and the game even has teddy bear undies! I would love to see you work on this a bit more in the future. Personally I would love to see 2 particular things in future scenes. First would be older spankees. Spanking a couple of people your age as well as a couple older than you would be really nice. Also I think it would be interesting for 1 or 2 if the player actually happened to know the person, and could give a touch more personalized comments. Off the top of my head I think spanking a friend, a former teacher, or even you own mother would be really cool additions! Even if you end up not working on this any more though, I still think it's a great game!

Kofi is a sort of medium that uses paypal. It would let me keep track of who donates better, and could let me give out rewards or other things, similar to patreon. I'm not sure about the rules about having paypal links, but I'll consider it.
