How to fix crashes
🕑 Added 2020-03-01 19:15:42 +0000 UTCHi, with the release of 2.0 I have not been getting any crash reports, but I thought I'd just make this post in case you do run into any.
HOW TO FIX CRASHING:
If the game is crashing on the language select menu, or somewhere else, do the following:
1. Go into your FIFA 20 folder (normally located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 20) and deleted the folder called "Moddata"
2. Go into Documents/FIFA 20
3. There should be a file called fifasetup. Open it with a text Editor
4. On line 4 (or around there), look for DIRECTX_SELECT = 0. Change it to DIRECTX_SELECT = 1
5. Save the file
6. Launch FIFA again.

Hi Fifer, so today I've started having an issue. I will launch via the frosty mod manager, and in task manager I can see FIFA 20 is running, then after about 20 seconds or so FIFA 20 just closes itself. I have ensured origin is in offline mode, and that DIRECTX_SELECT is set to 1 in the config file. I have tried reinstalling fifa 20, origin and frosty mod manager but this is happening everytime. Would very much appreciate some help, thanks.

Career Mod Crashes everytime I tried to scout players.
My gane crashes when i start a game in my career, help!

mine doesn't even load in anymore and I have tried everything and it still doesn't work, so I hope the next patch works better
Fifer my fifa just crashed when I try and search a player I want to buy in the transfer tab. I've done all the steps above, what else can I do?
Hey man, so I try to tab out of Fifa with your mod enabled and whenever I try to go back to the Fifa window it freezes and then just crashes to the desktop with no error, nothing. Any ideas?

My game crashes every time I get the option to sim or play a game. not sure why, tried doing the things in this post and restarting my pc, but not sure why its not working?

As Soon as I untick the "Fifa 20 realism" mod, it starts. So everything works besides that one. Really wierd
