You know Blizzard will have a free weekend where you can check out the new stuff at some point. So if you know this is the case, a free weekend's always a possibility to wet the appetite a little. I'd dropped it to, didn't play the latter half of the last xpack. Now i play as a super casual, a few hours maybe two or three times a month, but I'm okay with that personally, and I enjoy my playtime when I do play.

Honestly wow is good if you take play-time into consideration these days, there's plenty to do from getting fancy t-mog, farming mounts to doing some chill weekly stuff with Covenants. The game has gone from a "You -need- to grind to a -voluntary- grind" type which just removes a lot of things you need to do.
