Your opinion on hex packs
🕑 Added 2021-05-16 20:44:54 +0000 UTCHex packs are sort of a new thing on my site. I'd like to know your idea on those. Are you interested in this direction? Would you like me to keep adding those? Should I go back to making new maps instead of hexes? Or possibly, should I keep those 2 things somewhat balanced, one time adding a map, the other the pack of hexes?

I see. It seems people want me to stay focused on map making, so I'll stop making hex packs for a while. While I go back to it, I'll take what you said into account, some smaller elements and one-hex terrain pieces might be a more resonable approach to it. Next time I will be working on hex pack, I'll try to dabble a bit with fortifications, sentry towers and other small constructions, also maybe give a try of making more natural terrain hexes like forests and hills, people could use to customize their battlefield before the game starts. Hopefully, results will be cool.

I think maps can be used often, then hex from pack. I dont like any from hexpack, i cant find it useful to me. Just not understand idea of this kind of building. When i think about what hex i need in games i get following ideas - dropships, landing pads, runway strip, destroyed dropships, damaged terrain (heavy artillery fire and so on), may be field fortifications (mech size and tanks/infantry), crushed ATF, sentry towers, may be full forward base on multihex.
