You know, I was planning to finish the map today, but I'll sit a bit more on it and try to integrate those rocks a bit more with the map, so they don't stand as much. Different opinions about this feature in comments, so I think I'll go with 2 alternative versions of this map pack - one plain desert with villages, the other one focused on rocks.

Hmm... you are right, it looks pretty odd on a second look. I will work on it and try to make it more integrated with the map, so those rocks wouldn't stand out that much. In worst case scenario, I can make an alternative version of this map pack, dropping the rocks all together, leaving only villages and roads.

I was just going to email you to see if you would do some new desert maps, and you must have read my mind! The twisted rocks are a pretty wild, might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like the originality of them! Looks like they will make for some good blind spots for mechs to hide.
