🕑 Added 2022-11-03 16:01:50 +0000 UTChenllo everyone!!! today i'd like to ask your opinion on future arting endeavors.
until it reaches its completion, PMD: The Rogue Team will always be my number one project. it's a story that has lived in my head rent free for over 6 years and there's no other comic project i want to prioritize more. it's that important to me!
however, it'll be at least a few years until PMD:TRT is finished (there's 21 chapters!), and i do have smaller, more achievable comic ideas that could be completed much faster. One of these has already been posted: A Pokémon Love Story!, which is currently on hold. it's a black-and-white sketch comic! it also only has 4 short chapters.
I also have an idea for a fully original comic, and though this one is set to be as big and ambitious as PMD: The Rogue Team, it's nowhere near as developed (everything is still pretty much barebones).
this is the goal of this poll. Would you like to see other (secondary) comic projects alongside PMD: The Rogue Team? And would you like to follow the development of a future original comic project?
for the first, i'd use a looser update schedule so i can better manage time! i've also gained a LOT of experience in comic making w/ PMD:TRT, so returning to a simpler project like APLS would be much easier now than in the past.
for the latter, i would only post the steps to developing a full blown story. so you'd see character designs, concept art, brainstorming, and the process to create an outline for an original story, but no actual comic pages. i will only actually work on this comic once PMD:TRT is finished.
depending on your choices, new rewards could be added to our current tiers!

Wow, 9 votes, 100% on the doing both option, feels pretty unanimous hahaha I’ll just add in, don’t feel too pressured to do too much on yourself as that is a lot of commitment too, however doing a comic that is in sketch form I feel like is a good idea (even doing a once in a while 3-4 panel comic in sketchy form if any ideas pop into your head I feel like would also be good as well, if you choose! Just as a little doodle joke/reference/etc comic!) Wanted to say something sooner but was also busy when this went up till about 30 mins ago haha
