🕑 Added 2022-08-02 02:18:06 +0000 UTCHey guys! So I kinda hurt myself over the weekend (pinched a nerve in my neck) that’s kinda thrown me off my game. It’s been causing me have severe migraines that I’ve been trying to sleep off. Went to the chiropractor today so fingers crossed that helps!
Another thing I wanted to say is that… I may put SC on an indefinite hiatus. Every single time that I try to work on these last few episodes of the season, i get more and more stressed and more and more depressed. It’s just not fun anymore. It hasn’t been fun in a long time. I hate how rushed the ending is turning out. I keep cutting panels because I just don’t want to draw it. I know that SC is the primary reason some of you are here… and it’s where most of my fan base is… but I feel like I’m doing the story a big disservice. I literally haven’t looked at my iPad in the last few days because I dread having to work on SC. I’m more excited to draw TEB and the LucasXThomas side comic than anything else.
I’m really sorry. I know that a lot of you want to know what’s going to happen and I left it at a really bad cliffhanger spot but… I don’t know. I think I really need to take a much longer break than I originally planned.

We'd love for you to finish SC and we hope you still do but as everyone else has said we loved it because of the heart and soul you poured into it. So if your heart is elsewhere that's okay, we all still love you!

Completely agree with Studio Azuren - a large reason I love SC is because I could feel your heart and soul in it, and the reason they were there was because you loved telling the story. If telling the story is now painful for you, then I am willing to accept that it may just live in my own head. And that's okay!! We came here for you Ro - tell the stories your heart is clamoring to tell, if you come back to SC you come back to it, if you don't, we love you anyway Creativity is nothing without soul. And you and your mental health are more important than what you can produce

I kinda assumed that was the case. The absolute best thing for you is to rest. Forcing yourself to finish SC when you're just not in the right mindset will be damaging to you, more than you're at now. So a hiatus is the best thing for you to do. It sounds like burnout and that TEB has been bringing you joy to the point that SC might be making you "mad" at it from taking your time away from the current creative baby that has you inspired. This is completely natural and you shouldn't feel bad for that. Take care of that neck issue. I wouldn't be surprised if CTA anxiety/excitement is contributing as well. Either way, I came here to support you from TEB first, and then found SC. But health, both physical and mental above everything else. SC won't go anywhere, it deserves you at your best. Sending you as many positive vibes as I can.

SC might have brought many of us here but for me, at least, I am staying for you, as an creator. Your art has been consistently beautiful and I am looking forward to more TEB. Take care of yourself. Health, especially mental, matters!

I may have come here for SC, but I'm totally invested in TEB. I feel like your art and characters will be amazing no matter what project you're working on. Creativity doesn't have an on/off switch! Take whatever time and space you end up needing :)
