Suppression marks help them regulate their emotions and keep their powers under control! They can lose them or get rid of them… sure… but there are huge negative side effects. Why do you think Ryder was always surrounded with persistent, dark spirits before he got his back? 👀 there’s a lot more to it but that’s spoiler lol

I love how you have made her hair a second way to tell us how she's feeling 💙 But also. How do the suppression marks work? The Ascended gave them to them, right? How much will/energy does it take to keep them in place? Can they ever lose them entirely and just not get them back?
