And ... when the Ascended first started talking to him the spirits were whispering to him, I couldn't make it out when I Zoomed - but it looks as if even they were trying to warn him. As if even they were scared of this Ascended

Holy fucking shit I al so ready for them to kick DLA's ass. But also, DLA ... he already had suppression marks when he was laying on the altar - so what did the Ascended do to him with that knife to make him a full demon? Like - did that knife let in more darkness or put something into him as he stabbed him repeatedly?? Is that what the Ascended wants to do to the members of the Collective??

I feel like Mr. White Coat preys on the mentally different. Cause it seems to me, that demons had some kind of problem before death. Exorcists more so. But they got the help and guidance to “overcome”.

James is an interesting character. Still murder, but it's interesting still. He was driven insane by the spirits that haunted him. The Church took advantage of his insanity to make him a bigger monster. It makes me wonder if an exorcist could have driven off the spirits, and, with some sanity retained, therapy could have helped him. I do wonder if he'll get purgatory, with a chance at redemption, or hell once he's beaten (because he WILL be beaten!)
