Performance improvements for Koikatu, Koikatsu Party and AI-Shoujo/AI-Girl
🕑 Added 2019-11-30 03:26:40 +0000 UTCHere is a handful of performance improvements brought to you by the recent optimization efforts. The most noticeable improvement will be the studio launch time, it's now much faster in Koikatsu and to a lesser degree in AI-Girl (KK has more studio mods which slowed things down more, now the amount of mods doesn't affect startup time by much if at all).
Keelhauled and DeathWeasel worked on some optimizations as well, check their releases for more performance improvements and performance testing tools.
Before installing any of these you should install the latest Modding API. Also make sure that you have the latest stable version of BepInEx 5.0 (you have to update if you have a pre-release version, if you're unsure then update just to be safe).
What's new?
- IllusionFixes - Added StudioOptimizations for AI and KK - massive improvement to Studio startup time when there are many mods installed. There are also some other fixes and performance improvements.
- ABMX (bonemod) for AI, EC and KK now runs faster, especially with many characters loaded.
- KK_BrowserFolders starts up faster, shortening main game and studio launch times.
How to install
- Download the latest releases for your game. Warning: You only need the version specific for your game (check the prefix, for example KK = for Koikatsu). Downloading version for the wrong game or multiple versions will break things!
- Install the latest version of BepInEx 5.0 and Modding API.
- Extract the archives into your game directory. The .dll files should end up inside BepInEx\plugins.

A name of the repack doesn't really tell me anything. This is a very old release so if you applied to to a recent game version it could very well brick it. The easiest way to fix the game would be to install the latest AI HF Patch.

I have the AI Shoujo vR4.1 of BetterRepack, I followed your instructions and now my game is not starting, it's just a black screen.

i know this is something that a jerk would ask ,but.. can i somehow get the after school dlc without you know...buying it? cause i don't think it is included on te patchs or is it?

The game is much more taxing on the CPU than GPU. It can act like you're describing.

Hi is 15-25fps normal in game normal for ai girl? Im running 1080TI. It is weird because when i look elsewhere it is 60 fps but when i face an npc it drops to 15-25 fps.

Make sure you have the latest versions of all plugins. If the issue keeps happening then send me your output_log.txt file. It's best to do this on the discord server.

sir, may i ask you a question.are you know why when load some character，will lost some data like breast，and Adjustment for hair style. but this problem maybe will automatic response when load again.
Damn son thats some fast booting it took 3 seconds i guess this + SS drive really makes a difference

I'm honestly not sure, I don't have a headset to test the VR mode with. Can you send the output_log.txt after running the vr mode and getting the issue?

Im not sure if I did something wrong, or if this is just how it is, but I've instelled the HF patch on KKP Steam version and everything worked great (Thanks for all the hard work!) but when I use the VR mode, the models seem to have weird proportions (shorter body, bigger head) and one of my chracters was holding a random object that I never applied to them, and the game is censored again. Any ideas what might cause this/what can fix it?
