It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless content creation and gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered feel of the game. All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update, providing a stable platform for further modding.
Koikatsu can be split into two parts: character and scene creation tools (character maker and Studio), and an adventure game with story mode (it can use your custom characters, but not scenes). You can see preview videos of the game and some of the mods here.
HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately.
The base game (Koikatu / Koikatsu Party), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

Read before installing
Before installing check this installation guide and FAQ.
If you need any help check the wiki first, and if that doesn't help then ask in the #help channel of the Koikatsu Discord server. The #help channel is the fastest way to get help, you can even search it for your issue to see if someone already answered it. There are also chat and card sharing channels on the server!
To keep the download size reasonable, some of the less used mods are not included. To download them you can use the KKManager mod updater - run it at the end of HF Patch or from the game's launcher.

Solutions to common issues
- If after installing the patch you have issues running the game, restart your PC and try to install the patch again with default settings.
- If after installing the patch Studio hangs when loading, start KKManager (it's in a folder in game directory) and click "Look for updates" at the top, then tell it to update the Studio modpack.
- If you have trouble downloading by using the magnet link, try updating your torrent client or use the latest qBittorrent (it's known to work well).
- Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the patch to work. If the installer asks you for another disc it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
- If you see any messages about corrupted files you'll have to re-download the offending part (or all of the parts). If you downloaded the torrent, most torrent clients can "force recheck" the downloaded files so you don't have to re-download the whole thing.
- If your antivirus is flagging the .exe file make sure that you've downloaded the patch by following links in this post. If you are sure the download came from the right place, it's most likely a false positive (it's a common issue with non-signed application installers).
Changelog
This release took a lot longer to complete than expected, sorry for the delay! I had to fix many, many issues in the patch and included plugins before I was happy with its stability. Non-English-speaking users will see the most improvement, but most of the fixes apply to everyone. I hope that this version will be stable enough to let me focus on the HS2 release :)
Patcher changes / 変更
- Added a check for game install directories that can prevent the game from running properly (the patch will ask you to move the game to a different directory)
- Added a readme file explaining what different UserData folders do and how to use them (it's created in your UserData folder)
- Added an option to check for mod updates to the end of the install process
- AutoTranslator and the Custom Launcher are no longer a part of English translation and are installed by default for all languages (they are now automatically configured for the correct language)
- If unnecessary Koikatu files are detected in a Koikatsu Party install, Koikatu files will be removed to avoid issues (the patch will ask for permission)
- Clean up some branding files left behind by other patches and modpacks
- Fixed desktop icons not having the correct name in some cases
- Fixed fixing permissions not working on some systems (with some non-English system languages)
- Fixed multiple copies of one HF Patch version number sometimes appearing in launcher
- Fixed not closing Koikatsu Party and Koikatsu Party VR during the cleanup step
- Fixed some game files not being updated in some cases (e.g. the original Japanese launcher not getting installed)
- Fixed some wrong AutoTranslator config settings being set in some cases (reduces log spam)
- Fixed ignoring plugins and zipmods disabled in KK Manager during cleanup
- Remove KK Manager's temp folder during cleanup
- Remove KKUS if it is somehow installed to KK Party (it breaks KK Party maker)
- Updated Japanese translations
- Updated license to be clearer

- Re-added Sideloader Modpack - Studio (A cut-down version with less often used mods taken out. If you already have these mods installed they will not be removed. You can get all of the remaining mods by running online update at the end of the patch)
- KK_StudioSceneSettings v1.1 (Adds more effect settings for scenes)

You have to change the whole game language to the language you want the subtitles in, you can do it from launcher. If that doesn't change the subtitles the game might be unable to connect online to get the translations.

New here I found an issue with the patch, Desk doggy style (arm pull) won't work and shows the regular doggy style animation. Any way to fix that?

Make sure there are no more updates on Steam, then restart your PC and try to install the patch again.

after installing the DLC and special patch, and then installing your hf patch, i lost the story mode, and all the extra maps and girls and clothing from the patches and DLC. how am i able to add them back?

Having a bug with trying to do the h with a girl. I can give her pleasure but anytime I try to give her pleasure, it crashes. Its a save from march so, I would probably need to start a new game, right?

Hello, has anyone ever tried to make a resident evil 4 mod with a koikatu model by exporting through pmx export ? because I tried everything and when I rig my model on milkshape 3d the model is glitched! and a resident evil 4 modder told me that the model is corrupt, i don't know what to do!

Are you sure your character limit is not set below the amount of the characters you added and because of this different characters get loaded next day? Are they actually disappearing from the roster in night menu? If not then try increasing your character limit.

Hey, the patch works great! However the only problem that's been coming up is that whenever I load up story mode, it starts out fine, then when it gets to the roam school portion the game crashes. Do you know a solution to this problem?

The base game is officially translated in Koikatsu Party on Steam, the rest is slowly getting fan-translated but the completion is still far.

One issue I've been having tried Screwthisnoise pack as well as HF here, there seems to be a problem when coming to selecting the correct answers for characters. Like I'll have a tomboy that doesn't like to study and when I select either answer both give the same bad result. This happens with several different questions and other types of personalities. This didn't happen in previous versions so I'm curious what is causing the problem?
Is anything from the dlcs translated or are you guys still working in the base game, if that's the case are you planning on doing any translations for the dlcs ? ps: ur amazing keep up the good work : )

hey some of the characters in hf patch 3.0.2 had problems with overlays and skin efects and, the clothes werent able to modify in this new patch, is that fixed?

KKManager only updates content mods. To update plugins you have to download the new patch.

When installing the patch did you let it remove old plugins? janniereplacer should have been removed since it is superseded by character replacer.

The current version of the launcher has it disabled because it broke the game UI in many cases and made some buttons be invisible. This is mostly to prevent the support requests about this. You can still change the resolution to whatever you want by editing UserData\setup.xml manually. The feature might come back in the future with some limits to prevent broken aspect ratios.
Another thing the launcher does not have as the old one to change the resolutions of the game I like to know if you could add it

Are the torrents working? Tried both (even the one from github), but neither begin downloading. I've tried with and without vpn, so I don't think it's on my end, but I could be wrong.

You can only get the VR module for KK Party from Steam. You need to go to properties of the game > DLC and it should be there (or search for it on the store).

BWH measurement is surprisingly difficult to do, it's unlikely that it will happen unless someone very dedicated shows up to do it.

Run the modpack update in KK Manager. You can find it in a folder inside game directory. There's a shortcut to the updater in launcher but it might not work because of a bug.

Yes, you can use kkmanager to get the latest mod updates that weren't in the hf patch. You still need to use the patch to update plugins and some mods that aren't updated by the manager.

Update your torrent client or use qBittorrent. Also make sure that torrent traffic isn't getting blocked. It might take a few minutes for the download to start after adding it.

it just means you can move either character higher, lower, left, right, (and i think rotate too) if they don't line up in their positions. (eg. girl is smaller than the guy and the dick doesn't line up with pussy or ass or might be clipping somewhere)
