How to extract and install
You can watch a video walk-through here.
- Download all parts to the same directory. You can mix parts from different sources, but the file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
- Start the included .exe file. At the start it will verify if all of the downloaded files are in order. This can take a couple of minutes to complete.
- Click the extract and run button. This will extract the actual patch install files. Usually it's fine to leave the default directory (a new folder will be created for the extracted patch files). This can take a couple of minutes to complete.
- Eventually a UAC prompt should appear. When you click Yes the patch will start installing. When asked for the installation location point it to where your game is installed. If you bought the game on Steam, go to your steam library > properties of the game > view local files to find where the game is installed.
- You can remove the downloaded and extracted installation files now if you want.
In case you didn't notice, there's a patron-only KKManager update server available here. Try using it if KKManager updates are slow or fail to start.
What to do in case of issues
- If you can't extract the patch or the extracted file is a single, corrupted archive: Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the archive to open properly.
- If you see any messages about corrupted files you'll have to re-download the offending part (or all of the parts). Try using a different download source.
- If the installer asks you for another disc, it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
- Make sure that your antivirus is not flagging and removing the .exe file.
- If you have problems with the .exe you can use 7zip to extract the patch. After downloading all the parts, extract the .001 archive and provide the password listed above. Use the latest version of 7zip to extract the archive, some other archiving programs are known to have issues.

i set the download location to the file its installed on and it gives me an error saying the patch is already there and that i have to move it out and try again.

Just install the new version, it will automatically figure itself out no matter what you have installed currently.

Hey, so what if im just updating from an old patch version? will it just overwrite the old stuff or is there anything specific i need to do?

I just checked and all files download fine from both hosts. They pass verification and extract the patch just fine. Try a different web browser and make sure no other software or network firewall is interfering with the download. Also make sure that you have at least 10GB of free disk space. I'm uploading to a couple more hosts but the upload speeds are really slow so it will take a while.

If qBittorrent can't open the magnet link then I would lean on something filtering/messing with your internet connection.

I'm having the same issue. The exe and part one are fine from both sources; however KK_HFP_34.7z002 and KK_HFP_34.7z003 are corrupt from both for me. I love your work though, and I'll keep trying.... Mine is working for me now :)

..ok both MediaFire and Pixeldrain result in a message that the first file is corrupted and redownloading does not change this. qBittorrent cannot find anything to download (infinite ETA no progress in 30+minutes) from either mirror link ... im stumped
